We celebrate Iqbal day on 09 November. 

Introduction:

Iqbal full name is Sir Shiekh Allama Muhammad Iqbal. He was born on 09 November1877 in Kashmir. He was Christian and converted to Islam. At that time, the people of Kashmir were migrating towards Punjab and all over Pakistan. So, Iqbal's family also migrated to Sialkot. They make it their homeland. They were counted in respectable families. He was having unconditional love for Islam. His family was also having unconditional love for Islam as well as with our Holy Prophet Hazrat Muhammad (PUBH). He gets these things in inheritance. 

 Family: 

His father's name was Shiekh Noor Muhammad. He was a tailor and not a much-educated person. He was a religious person. Iqbal's mother's name is Imam Bibi, she was a humble and polite woman. She was also not a much-educated woman. Iqbal was having one sister and one brother. Sister name was Zaynab Bibi. His brother's name was Sheikh Ata Muhammad. When his mother died, in his memory, he wrote some poem:(one of the famous stanza) 

دفتر ہستی میں تھی زریں ورق تیری حیات  

تھی سراپا دین و دنیا  کا سبق تیری حیات 

 

     Profession: 

He was a South Asian Muslim writer, philosopher, and politician. After passing MA, he was appointed as a philosophy and history professor in intel College, Lahore. After some time you were appointed as assistant professor of English and philosophy in a government college. Till 1909 you were the philosopher in government college then, you resigned. You were the young Brister till 1934 then, on some personal issue you also resigned from here. From an early age, he wants to be a politician. In 19026, you started taking interest in politics. He was a very good writer as well as a poet. He wrote many books and poems in different languages like Urdu, English, Farse, etc. 

St      Studies: 

Iqbal gets early education from their home. Iqbal's father has the reference of Maulana Mir Hassan Sahab. He gets admission to Mission School under the supervision of Mir  Sahab. He gets very good grades in class 05  as well as in 08 and in inter. You get religious studies from Mir Sahab. Mir Hassan was like the father of Iqbal. When he was getting admission to the college, his father said “when you will complete your studies then, you will( waqf) your life for Islam. (famous stanza about Iqbal's religious studies): 

اند کے اندیش دیاد آراے پسر 

اجتماع امت خیر البشر صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم
